About Us:
David is a qualified Gemologist and Opal cutter, having worked throughout the Jewelry and Gemstone Industry for over 35 years, both in the UK and for the past 25 years in his beloved Australia.
He also taught Gemology at Wollongong Technical and Further Education College, and trained students at Wollongong University and other local institutions, before selling everything and taking three years off to travel around Australia gathering information and gemstone samples as he went.
His passion is writing and is a National Award winning author. He is also the writer of several publications and also wrote and designed more websites than he cares to remember.
Now very much involved in the development of software for Valuation Appraisal programs, together with his wife Patricia (as a experienced Taxation Consultant she runs the business) and his son Chris, a fastidious Manufacturing Jeweler in his own right, they have brought their special skills and talents to the Internet.
