Inside the Gemstone Lab Report area...
Diamonds are the most popular and the Gemological Lab Report has them well covered.
As with all gemstones, the system covers everything in a simple multiple choice question interface. There are Help menus and Prompts to Guide you through, plus Charts Tables and Hints and tips.
Once you have selected the Main Gemstone you can add individual client information if you want that printed on your Certificate. You will also see some fundamental data here, and also have the chance to upload an image into our directory.
This will overwrite the default image or you can leave our basic selection for printing if you do not have any image of your own.
Below that (as for all gemstones) we step you through the 4 C's of Color, Cut, Clarity and Carat weight together with general questions relating to the quality of the Gemstone.
This is not difficult.
If you can use a plastic ruler and eyeglass - anyone can do this.
If you are NOT sure - just use the 'default' buttons and proceed to the end.
Once you press the 'Submit' button, this will generate all the calculations based on your gemstone, and price it accordingly.
You will find yourself back in the Valuation Manager interface again, where you can see the appraisal value and select to print your Lab Report Certificate at this time.
The Gemological Self Valuation System shouldn't take too long. Estimated 10 to 15 minutes - quicker if you have done one before or if you have the details written down before you begin (suggested) plus you can leave at any time and return within 30 days to resume any lab report until it is complete.
Up to this point, you can 'Go Back and Forth' and change details until you are satisfied the information you entered is correct. Once happy with the data - you can print your Certificate.
If you are not sure, the Help, Suggestions and Examples will assist in identifying and measuring your gems or you can always contact support at any time.
