Gemstone Identification Lab…
In the Laboratory we have sectioned the area into three major topics.
The first based on information and descriptions to the MOST FAMILIAR gemstones seen in Jewelry today. If you just want a general background without all the Jargon, then the GEMSTONE INDEX is the place to start.
The second section is based around the famous ‘Gemstone Identification Tool’ which will help you eliminate the obvious and arrive at the MOST PROBABLE gemstone in your class.
This section is FREE to Members only, but as Membership is very affordable, there’s no excuse not to join.
You can enjoy all the benefits Membership brings, including the Valuation Manager, Early Bird notification to our complimentary Newsletter and much, much more…
The third and final section in the Lab will be devoted to the Valuation and Identification of Gemstones with a ‘Certificate of Authenticity’ or Full Valuation and Appraisal as a final outcome.
There is a small Fee for this service but includes the ‘Gemstone Identification Tool’ as part of the package. That way, everyone can gain from our experience.
So what are you waiting for..?
It’s all here.
- Gemstone Index
- Gemstone Identification Tool
- Gemstone Valuation and Authentication

Am looking for stone but don’t quite know the spelling. Will do the best I can. It is from a brilliant orange to reds. (the ones I have seen) It is something like; Paradaschi or Paparacaschi. Thank you for your efforts and hope you carry it.

G’day Marsha and many thanks for your query
The gemstone you are looking for is Padparadschah (which means ‘Lotus Flower’ in Sinhalese). It is nothing more than an Orange Pink variety of Sapphire (very beautiful by the way).
Hope this helps….
