This is always a difficult one because the TRADE generally won't buy from the public. The reason for this is because they get their gemstones on a 90 day invoice PLUS they can arrange returns. There is also the element of Guarantee (they like to deal with people in the industry with whom they can trust). You might be lucky going door to door around the local jewelry stores but it's very hard work - lots of time - you have to sell at trade prices. Remember that jewelers buy all their gemstones at half price or less. eBay is another choice - at least you can do some comparison shopping there and see what prices they are getting. There might also be a local auction house in your area (sorry I don't know where you live). As I said in the beginning - this is always a hard question because nobody likes the answer.
