Silver Jewelry is in the lower end of value anywhere in the world.
Currently the price for silver is US$12.69 per ounce against Gold at US$654 and Platinum at US$1292. So there is not a lot of value in silver and that's one of the reasons it is frequently used in Tourist Destinations as a 'Keepsake'.
Peridot can be purchased at less than US$10 per gem so again is NOT an expensive item. By the time you take into account the Taxes and Import Duty back into the States there is NOT a lot of profit there, so treat it as a treasured memory and leave it at that.
